This spacer allows you to mount the 12g CO2 Cartridge Adapter (not included) on your MCX/MPX air rifle (not included) so that you can use 12g CO2 canisters rather than the 88g/90g CO2 canisters. Works with the following airguns:
- Sig Sauer MCX Air Rifle (.177 Pellet CO2)
- Sig Sauer MCX Rattler Canebrake Air Rifle (.177 Pellet CO2)
- Sig Sauer MPX Air Rifle (.177 Pellet CO2)
You will need two 5mm ID x 9 mm OD x 2mm W (or 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD x 1/16" W) o-rings and silicon oil to seal the spacer in between the air rifle and the 12g CO2 Cartridge Adapter. The o-rings are included. The silicon oil is not included, but can be easily sourced from your local hardware store (e.g. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.). To Use:
- Place a drop of silicon oil on each of the o-rings.
- Install the spacer onto the 12g CO2 Cartridge Adapter with one o-ring in between.
- Install the 12g CO2 Cartridge Adapter onto the MCX/MPX air rifle with one o-ring in between.
- Tighten the adapter onto the air rifle.
- Place a drop of silicon oil on the mouth of the 12g CO2 cartridge.
- Install a 12g CO2 cartridge into the 12g CO2 Cartridge Adapter.
